Marking laser machines are pulsing the light. That means that the laser light is emitted in portions (so called pulses). Mostly these pulses can not be changed. With the 20 watt short pulse fiber laser Ultra-Light M20 it is possible to adjust the pulse. That way pulses of up to up 500 kHz can be realized. The combination of short pulses and high frequencies is for instance good for realizing sensitive laser markings. Therefore the M20 is very good for marking plastics or medical instruments. Another advantage of the short pulse fiber laser technology is the very short marking time. The Ultra-Light M20 is perfect for special marking requirements. Working with the Ultra-Light M20 is very comfortable, as the machine has an automatic door opening and closing. Furthermore the standard scope of delivery includes an extraction system for marking lasers. Therefore the M20 is especially suited for marking (very) large numbers of parts.
For marking larger parts, the short pulse fiber laser M20 can be integrated in the large standard cabinet of the Ultra-Light Plus series. The additional automatic x-axis of the Ultra-Light Plus series increases the marking field to up to 530 x 180 mm. That way it is possible to mark a large number of small parts in one work process. Due to the larger protective cabinet of the Ultra-Light Plus series it is furthermore possible laser individually large parts. With various accessories, such as for example rotary axes and type plate feeds, the Ultra-Light M20+ can easily be adapted to special marking requirements. For instance database connections and traceability solutions are available. The Ultra-Light M20+ is especially suited for marking large quantities as it's automatic door opening and closing and its integrated extraction system allow very comfortable laser markings.
